Dakar, Senegal - The film by Chadian filmmaker Mahamat-Saleh Haroun « Un home qui crie" (A man who cries) is the single African work featuring, after more than ten years, for the Palme d'Or at the 63rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival in France which kicks off Wednesday.
The film deals with the private tragedy of Adam, about 60, a socially relegated man living in Chad, which was dogged by a civil war.
