I have the utmost respect for Ralph Nader, head of Public Citizen, for his positive contribution to the nation's consumer affairs issues. And I even tolerated his run for president last time because he gave progressives Left of Al Gore a chance to participate. But it is without question that he was one of the factors that cost Gore the election.
